The words themselves, apart from everything, are enough to give chills. Declaration of Independence. The words are majestic, powerful, stirring. The ideas the words convey are, at heart, America. They are mythical. Inviolate.
I remember the first time I saw the movie, the opening with Jodie Foster running on the exercise course.
And the person behind me who had READ THE BOOK and wanted to make sure not only that everyone know he had READ THE BOOK but that he REMEMBERED everything that happened when he READ THE BOOK and knew exactly what was going to happen next at every single moment of the movie and to prove that he had READ THE BOOK he shared with us all what was going to happen next at every single moment of the movie.
Buffalo Bill could have made a nice leather jacket out of his fat ass.
