More Moore

Question time, and be honest: When you see the flag, those bold red and white stripes, those brilliant white stars on that blue background, what do you feel? When you hear the Star Spangled Banner, what do you think? When God Bless the USA comes on the radio do you crank it up and sing along, trying not to cry? When the news carries the crawl that another US soldier, in harm's way to protect us, has died do you pray for his family?

I've mocked Michael Moore (granted, the target is easy, like hitting the broadside of a barn because...you've got to see this one coming...he is the broadside of a barn...thank you, I'll be here all week...). I've highlighted what I've considered his liberal idiocy.

His anti-semitism was highlighted yesterday.

Today, well, this is just plain dangerous. For those unaware, his mockumentary, Bowling For Columbine (or as we like to call it...A Whole Big Fat Bag O' Lies) was released this past week (tainting the concurrent releases of such gems as Chicago and The Two Towers.

In order to spread the Gospel According to Moore, he's released the Bowling For Columbine Teacher's Guide. (is anyone surprised?). The very last section of the teacher's guide? "Mike's Action Guide For Students." This is what Michael Moore wants our children's teachers to be teaching to the future of America.

Take the lead. Try to get them interested in a study group or book club or film discussion group. Organize your group and educate yourselves about the problems raised in BOWLING FOR COLUMBINE, using on-line resources. Some suggestions are:
Why do so many people around the world hate us? How are they affected by U.S. foreign and military policy? How are they affected by the actions of U.S. global corporations?
If we are so rich and strong as a nation, why is there so much fear in the United States? How is the U.S. media different from those in other nations?
Is there a link between consumerism and fear?
Why do we beat up on our poor?
Why do we have so much gun violence? What make this nation different?
What role does white racism play in the media, in the culture of fear, in U.S. foreign and military policy?"

We deserved to be attacked. We were asking for it. We hurt their feelings. We shouldn't have been wearing a short skirt. We shouldn't have teased. We're at fault. We're wrong. We're to blame. We should have lain there and taken it.

Why do so many people around the world hate us?

Because we're FREE. Because our women are the equal of our men. Because we believe that equality of opportunity is possible. Because we are everything they are not. Because they know that their people want to be like us.

How are they affected by US foreign and military policy?

We give them money, they kill us. We give them medicine, they kill us. We give them the same thing we give everyone else, the opportunity to better themselves, they kill us. There is nothing we could (or, conversely, could not) do which would change one basic fact: They want us dead.

How are they affected by the actions of US global corporations?

They use our products, they kill us. They watch our movies, they kill us. They listen to our music, they kill us. They want us dead. All of us. Jews, Christians, Wiccans, Moores. They kill us.

If we are so rich and strong as a nation, why is there so much fear in the United States?

Because people like you, Michael Moore, hate the United States so much that you breed fear. Oh, and because there are people whom you support who, have I mentioned this, keep killing us and want us all dead.

How is the US media different from those in other nations?

They're FREE you insufferable moron. They have FREEDOM.

Is there a link between consumerism and fear?

No, you asshat (as Misha would say, all hail the Emperor). There's a link between people wanting to kill us and fear. There is, however, a link between consumerism and FREEDOM.

Why do we beat up on our poor?

Show of hands: Who here has beat up a poor person lately? Our poor are statistically richer than most of the freaking world.

Why do we have so much gun violence?

Prove it. Let's hear it. I'm waiting.

What makes this nation different?

FREEDOM you fuck, now leave it if you think you'd like it better somewhere else. How long do you think you'd be allowed to breathe if you were a citizen of Iran and asked these questions of the government? Minutes? Long enough to scream for a twinkie?

What role does white racism play in the media, in the culture of fear, in U.S. foreign and military policy?

None. Zero. Zilch. The only culture of fear is in the minds of the liberal media. Racism plays no part in foreigh and military policy. Know what does?

There are people, let's call them TERRORISTS, who want us, let's call us EVERYONE WHO ISN'T THEM, dead. They want to kill us. They say this every week from state sponsored mosques. They want to kill us all, not just Jews.

That's our foreign and military policy: defeat those who want to kill us.

This is what Michael Moore wants to teach our children.

Jewish Extremists Defile Al-Aqsa Compound

Yes, that's really the headline. How did they 'defile' it, you might be wondering.

Glad you asked.

According to the Arab News:

The Jews defiled it by ENTERING it.

"Palestinian Prime Minister Mahmoud Abbas yesterday slammed Israel’s decision to allow “Jewish extremists” to enter Jerusalem’s Al-Aqsa Mosque compound as a recipe for more violence. “This inciteful policy is a recipe for friction and violence,” Abbas said in a statement. “We all know the consequences of such action from previous incidents in 2000,” he added."

That's it. The rest of the article deals with a different subject.

Yes, according to Abu Mazen, the mere presence of Jews is defilement enough.

Michael Moore

It's been a while since there's been anything to post about the waste (or waist) which is Michael Moore.

Yesterday, on his web site, he posted, in mini-blog style, the following (if you want to click on all the links he included feel free to visit his site):

"Must Read Tuesday, August 26, 2003
How many times do we have to say it? Nearly 70 percent of Americans think Iraq is turning into a quagmire. There's only one solution: Rumsfeld's gotta go!
Last year, a government auditor reported that Lockheed Martin overcharged the government for military aircraft programs. Now this poor guy has been suspended from his job for complaining about the lack of action taken against Lockheed.
The Middle East is still being rocked by explosions from India to Afghanistan to Baghdad. But is more violence really the answer? Some suggest the focus should be on restoring infastructure that we destroyed. Hell, maybe just being honest would help.
Good news! Crime rates are down! And no need to fear, Nelson Mandela is an evildoer no more! He's finally off the US terror list (but only for 10 years).
And sadly, an 11 year old British anti-war activist takes his own life after being tormented in school for his views."

Read that again. Did you catch it? Let me give you a hint:

"The Middle East is still being rocked by explosions from India to Afghanistan to Baghdad."

Catch it now?

Here's another hint, a visual aid:

Guess if Jews die it doesn't bother Michael Moore very much.

It's a birthday!!!

Ok, so I ordered half of eBay. It's my wife's birthday today! She's earned it. I think I've lost track of how many hinged boxes I bought her though. And numerous cookbooks, CDs, and various things...every day has been one package after another for her.

She's worth it.

Although she did send me an email today to let me know EXACTLY what kind of cake she wants: yellow cake, chocolate icing, yellow roses, pink writing. Sheesh. I hope the bakery doesn't screw it up.

My new mantra

I need to figure out a way to have this up permanently, rather than just posting it whenever I don't have anything to say....

Admit it, if you lived in California, you'd be voting for him just because you could.
